Why a small business is better than a regular job
Contrary to popular belief, a start up business venture can have more potential than a regular job. Of course this begs a lot of questions along the lines of security and income. Valid, questions all of them. The answers are only too logical come to think of it.
The first obvious benefit is that of ultimate authority. When you start a business, you are your own boss. There is nobody telling you what you have to do. You make your own decisions and what’s more… you get to drive the whole plan of action in a way that you want. In a regular job, you will obviously have to have fixed working hours. You will have more than one person foisting more work upon you than what you actually can do. Not to forget the constant monitoring and long working hours. You seldom get time to work depending on your flexibility or convenience.
A regular job might have income security but only just as much as a good business plan has. Besides, in the long run you don’t have to be still working under someone or the other with a meager pay raise. You have to deal with people who want to get ahead of you. You don’t have to deal with biased superiors either. These may sound like silly things at first glance but anyone with a good experience will already be nodding while reading this.
Though initially a small business can take some money to get a good start, it can be completely worth it. A good business can bring you twice as many profits as a regular job can. You need to have an able team under you and a good scheme. There’s hardly any scope for creativity or innovation on a greater level with a job. However in business, you can think of your own ideas and execute them without having to get a hundred sanctions from officials and authorities who will view and review your ideas.
Jobs are great if you’re absolutely not a risk taker. However if you don’t mind little risks and you are certain about your preparations and initiatives, a small business is one of the best options before you. You get to make money and you get to make it comparatively quicker.
These are fundamental differences between normal jobs and not-so-normal small businesses. The choice is yours of course. So make the best one.
